2009年8月FDA針對服用120毫克Orlistat及60毫克非處方藥Orlistat，進行全面審查及檢討，結果確定共有13例嚴重肝損傷個案，減肥藥，必須在其標籤加註，有12人服用120毫克Orlistat，1人服用60毫克Orlistat，而13例中，有2例死於肝衰竭，共3例需要肝臟移植手術。
